Free Taco Day at Dos Gringos

Dos Gringos, Tres Agaves Tequila and College Times are celebrating National Taco Day on Tuesday, October 4th, with free tacos for all! To honor the holiday, all Dos Gringos locations will be giving away one free taco per person, with the purchase of a beverage (does not include fish or shrimp), from 11am until 2am.

Guests may choose any style taco they like (flour, street style corn, or TexMex) and fill it with tasty options like grilled chicken, grilled carne asada, pork chile verde, shredded chicken or shredded steak. Patrons will also be able to take advantage of Dos Gringos’ already popular Taco Tuesday food and drink specials.We’ll be serving up discounted drinks, $2.50 Coronas and $6 Premium Tres Agaves Margaritas all day and all night!

We are looking for a passionate GENERAL MANAGER for our Old Town Scottsdale location. You must have at least two years management experience the restaurant/service/hospitality industry, have knowledge of food, beverage and service. We NEED someone who knows how to market themselves and the business in Tempe and Old Town Scottsdale.

- At least 2 years of management experience in a full service restaurant

- At least 2 years of bartending experience in a full service restaurant or bar

- Must maintain a strong work ethic and a positive attitude

- Ability to lead and motivate a team

- High energy and able to work nights and weekends

- Ability to build and increase sales over previous year’s sales

- Maintain and improve employee and guest satisfaction

- We prefer candidates have experience with the Tempe or Old Town Scottsdale bar scene.

The 1st Annual Gringo Games Are Coming…Are You Ready?

Get ready for the 1st Annual Gringo Games coming to Dos Gringos Chandler September 4th 2011 from noon-6pm. 5 person teams will compete in bags, flip cup, beer chug, beer pong, darts, pub quiz, quarters, and rock/paper/scissors for great prizes. All participants will receive a goodie bag, awards prizes and medals, free taco and nacho bar and access to great drink specials. All guests will enjoy $2.50 Coronas, $3 Gringoritas, $4 Captain Morgan, $4 Smirnoff Flavors, $6 Don Julio Margaritas, and $6 Don Julio  shots. Sign your team up today and party for a great cause! Battle of the Bands Unplugged

Dos Gringos and 2 Know Music have teamed up to present the Battle of the Bands Unplugged, an acoustic concert series at Dos Gringos South Tempe. Sixteen local bands will showcase their music talents over the eight week series. Two bands will perform each Thursday night at 8pm September 1st through October 27th. The bands will compete for a cash prize of $1,000 and a chance to be crowned a nightly performer at Dos Gringos. The winner will be based upon live performance, fan attendance, Dos Gringos staff and online voting.

In the next few weeks, interviews by 2 Know Music, band performances, and songs will be showcased on the Battle of the Bands Unplugged Facebook Fan Page where fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite band based upon each bands’ live performance. Online voting will also take place on the Fan Page where you can listen to songs and connect with the bands.
