What:    Maggie Ruiz Benefit and Car Wash

Following the tragic news of our amazing and outstanding employee, Maggie Ruiz, Dos Gringos Mesa gracefully asks for the support of the community and Arizona.  Her family, friends, Dos Gringos Mesa staff, and guests will be in attendance for an event in her loving memory. Portion of all sales generated will be donated for the benefit of her beautiful son.  Join us this Sunday June 12, 2015 12pm-4pm while we celebrate Maggie’s life and love she bestowed upon her family and friends.  A benefit car wash will be held in conjunction with the event in the Dos Mesa parking lot at the same time as well.

Maggie wasn’t just an employee, she was family who was a bright star that will shine in our hearts forever.  Her smile and personality not only encouraged the people around her to have fun working but it lit up the room.  We will miss Maggie tremendously.

Maggie Ruiz – Dos Gringos asking for help in hit and run

Maggie will be greatly missed more information about a benefit to honor Maggie and her beautiful son will be announced shortly.  In the mean time we’re asking for the public’s assistance in finding the person/persons that hit Maggie and left the scene.

MESA, AZ – Department of Public Safety officials say that thanks to people calling in, they have been able to generate several leads in the case of a deadly Mesa hit-and-run.

Maggie Ruiz, 27, was struck and killed Saturday night after she fell from a motorcycle near the westbound US 60 ramp and Val Vista Drive. Officials said a driver struck Ruiz then left the scene without stopping.

After examining the debris, DPS Vehicle Crimes Unit believes the suspect’s car was a 2014 or 2015 Toyota Corolla.

Anyone with any information is urged to call the DPS Duty Office at 602-223-2212.

Dine Out For Donations – #FeedArizona #FightHunger

Dos Gringos is excited to announce Dine Out for Donations every Wednesday 11am-7pm.  Beginning in April Dos Gringos will be donating 20% of all sales to local food banks.  Chandler will be donating to Chandler Christian Community Center, Mesa will be donating to United Food Bank, Scottsdale will be donating to Vista Del Camino, and South Tempe will be donating to The Society of St. Vincent De Paul.  Dos Gringos was able to donate over $17,000.00 to local food banks last year (2014), we’re hoping to not only match the number but beat it this year!  With your help, the only thing needed is to come in, eat, be merry, and 20% of the customer’s bill will be donated! Help us fight hunger in Arizona, every dollar donated makes a huge impact.
